Remembering those from our local parishes who gave their lives in the First World War.
News: 15 May 2010
Blackmore's War Memorial is being cleaned and re-engraved with the names of those who both died and those who survived the First World War connected with Blackmore.  A Group is researching those commemorated and have passed an accurate transcript to the Parish Council for restoration.  All the research into the lives of these heroes will gradually be publishing on this website.  For the latest 'news', plus a video and pictures of work in progress on the Memorial itself, click
here.  If you have an ancestor from Blackmore, Hook End and Wyatts Green who served in any twentieth century conflict we would be pleased to hear from you.  Please E mail
